A webinar series to provide background to community on the burning plasma physics implications of the various fusion concepts on the market (FRC / high-field Mirror / Stellarator / Tokamak) and a baseline for considerations in the according technology space (FESS study outcome). A status update on the many recent developments in these areas is considered an asset to prepare the community for the discussions following the FESAC LRP report.
Suggestions for talks about other concepts are welcome and will be considered by the U.S. BPO RC as additional webinar talk in this series. Please email proposals to oschmitz@wisc.edu.
